What Makes OS Different?

OS offers a variety of programs:

  • Community Living Program
    Focusing on community integration through outings, sensory activities, Occupational Therapy (OT)  and Physical Therapy (PT) services, and leisure activities.
  • Enhanced Services
    Focused on community integration through outings, community work sites, sensory activities, OT and PT services, and leisure activities while in a more staff-intensive environment.
  • Community Work Program
    Focused on community integration through a variety of different community- based job sites, outings, structured programming, OT and PT services, sensory activities, and leisure activities.
  • Scattered Site Program
    Focused on community integration at community-based job sites with frequent visits, throughout the day, by a job coach.
  • Independent Services
    Focused on independent jobs in the community. Job coaches help the client find a job of his or her own, assist with interviews, training, long-term support as well as help arranging transportation.
  • Community Immersion Program
    Focused on 100-percent community engagement.  The Community Immersion Program (CIP) similar to the Community Work Program (CWP) in that clients participate in community-based employment and outings.  However, clients in the CIP spend all of their time with OS, in the community; none of the programming takes place in a site.


At OS, we focus on choice, and a sense of belonging and respect. We work as a team to customize a program suited to every client's needs.
