Community Work

The Community Work Program serves as a supportive work environment:

• Especially effective for those striving to develop skills and achieve a job of their own in the future.
• Clients work in community businesses and are supervised by job coaches throughout their work days.
• Jobs typically range from 1-3 hours per day, and are often in retail, food service, janitorial and manufacturing.

In this program, Opportunity Services provides the following:

• A supportive environment to help realize the goal of independent employment.
• Work teams consisting of clients with different skills, working together to accomplish a job.
• Targeted jobs that meet the needs and desires of our clients.
